Located in Ålesund, Norway, Hansson Fishing AS is a modern processing plant for, king crab, salmon, lobster and pelagic products with over 5 plants in Norway to meet the growing demand of seafood around the world.
We have salmon production all year round, pelagic season 9 months a year, and king crab production all year round, our products are exported worldwide all day. With a cold storage capacity of over 12,000mt and a deep water tank, we offer port-to-port logistics to our customers globally on a day to day basis.
Hansson Fishing AS started in 1980 and is now one of the most famous salmon and pelagic plants in Norway as part of the "Norway Seafood Farmers Association " Company. The latest improvements in the factory were in 2010/2014, with the installation of a line of 40 new fully automatic Baader 521 filleting machines and a vacuum packing line. This, along with the new sorting machines and existing packing lines for round fish, ensures a good supply of fish to our customers.

The company was established in 1980 at Åfjord with other cold storage and production facilities being extended in other regions in Norway.
After careful start, we have gradually built up a good market domestically. We will now focus more on the nearest foreign markets. From September 2014 we were certified by over 10 international quality control companies for excellence in hygiene and quality production.
By getting a lot of fish locally, we have better security for delivery and quality to our buyers.
